I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working with Colorado residents. I work with adult clients struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, body image issues and life transitions. I believe that we are people woven together with many pieces and influences. Whether you have been shaped by society, your culture, messages from family or friends, external or internal stressors, I hope to work alongside you in your journey towards healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we'll share a little bit about ourselves and look over some of the paperwork you filled out. Then we'll start chatting about what is bringing you to counseling (which is a big step, way to go!). I'll help lead the conversation but offer time for you to share what's on your mind.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I offer a warm and comfortable space to open up about your struggles (and your successes!). I weave in humor throughout sessions while also giving the respect and care needed to deal with some of life's hardest topics.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My clients are adults who are ready to unpack the messages that have shaped them. We'll process whatever brings them in- a breakup, family conflict, work stress, singleness, body image issues, or the chaos of the world - while also exploring other parts of life. We work together to sift through their past while also applying skills in the present.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Much of our time together will be led by you, the client. You are the expert of your life and I come alongside you as we discover more about who you are what has shaped you.

Christian Counseling

If you would like to integrate faith into your counseling, let me know. This integration could include discussing how your faith informs your values, how faith has impacted your life (either positively or negatively), and how you hope it can be a part of your healing. For some, faith is an integral part of their life and can be beneficial in using as a part of therapy.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will likely look together at different beliefs and thought patterns that impact the way you show up in the world. Together, we'll challenge some of these beliefs and look for new ways to approach your outlook on life.
