Salutations and hello to my future clients. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia with a proven ability to quickly establish excellent working relationships with clients. Recognized by colleagues for creative problem-solving skills, and astute contributions to members of my team. I received my Masters degree from the University of Alabama and have been practicing for over 8 years.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through and ensure your needs are being addressed. Many times the first session is filled with trepidation and uneasiness so it is my duty to ensure the client is empowered and ready to begin the work.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my three biggest strengths are my ability to understand the problems and needs of people under my care. Secondly my varied experience allows me to assess, recommend, and develop self-actualization to help enhance the quality of their lives. Finally, my proven track record of working on complex caseloads on time and to the satisfaction of all parties.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past 8 years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. The CBT model states that thoughts influence an individual’s emotions and body sensations, which in turn, impacts their actions. CBT proposes that emotions cannot be directly influenced, but they can be changed by identifying and modifying the thoughts that are the source of the emotion. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Motivational Interviewing

I have been using Motivational interviewing in my practice for the past 10 years which establishes a supportive relationship between the therapist and the client with the goal of helping the client develop a positive attitude towards change.
