Hi, I’m Shelby! Thank you for taking a step toward healing and self-love today. Do you find yourself pondering your purpose or contemplating where to go next? Are you experiencing life transitions, changes, or major losses? Does the weight feel too heavy to carry? Combining my professional expertise along with my personal experiences with these challenges, I am here to support you through this journey. My therapeutic approach includes providing a safe space for you to show up as your authentic self to process difficult emotions and feelings. I have walked many paths of grief and healing, and I know how important it is to have the support of someone who provides an open, non-judgmental space of genuine and compassionate care. I believe healing is an on-going, life-long process and there are many paths we build along our journey. I am here to walk alongside you on your path. My personal interests include art, painting, creative mixed media dabbling, gardening, food preservation, DIY home improvement, Taylor Swift, and advocating to improve or dismantle oppressive social systems and constructs. I love the mountains and animals.
During our initial consultation, we will review your history, concerns, and goals. This is your path, and if you feel like we’re the right fit, I would love to walk this journey alongside you to help you build your stepping stones toward healing.
Utilizing a strengths-based approach combined with neuroscience, existential, and trauma-informed treatment modalities, I specialize in walking alongside others in their healing journey through trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, navigating life transitions and relationships, communication, and problem solving. I recognize that each individual is unique, and the treatment methods and tools used will be specialized for your individual needs. Together, we will build an alliance to collaborate on methods to achieve your goals for therapy.
I’ve been in the field of social work, social services, and mental health for over 8 years in a variety of settings and roles. I recognize that a wide range of systemic factors impact our mental well-being, including race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic status, culture, social support, relationships, environments, and our community. Each individual is unique along with their own life experiences and ecology. I strive to empower you to build and nurture a loving and kind relationship with yourself, while providing support with identifying and achieving your goals within the world you experience.
I am particularly interested in helping people navigate life transitions, grief, relationships, and spirituality.
