I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been providing therapeutic services to children and adults with a variety of struggles and mental health disorders since 2015. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in two domestic violence shelters, and I did crisis intervention for adolescents and their families. I am committed to assisting those I work with in improving their mental health and quality of life through evidenced-based approaches. I have been trained in treatment approaches that include Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mind Body Bridging (MBB), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Aggression Replacement Training (ART), and I am Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) informed. I look forward to helping you on your mental health journey of acceptance and change. If there is something we can count on… “is that change is inevitable” (John C. Maxwell).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will spend time getting to know you and what you hope to get out of therapy so that together we can develop a plan that is catered to what your specific needs are.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My personal and professional experience as well as knowledge that I have gained has given me the ability to actively listen, empathically respond, and provide tools that are beneficial to the people I work with and their specific needs.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

I have been using Mind Body Bridging for the last two years. It is an evidenced based therapeutic intervention that is aimed at empowering individuals with knowledge and tools to cultivate self-awareness, harness the mind-body connection, and achieve a balanced and purposeful life by guiding individuals toward a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. The process is a collaborative approach that inspires growth, resilience, and harmony in the journey of self-discovery (I-System Institute).
