In addition, I have worked in detention centers and I am experienced with SUD (substance use disorders). In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, followed by a comprehensive initial assessment. The assessment entails discussion about challenges that you are facing, formulation of treatment goals, and application of interventions that will assist in challenges you’re facing.
Having worked with adults, teens, families in a variety of different setting for 8 years, I have developed an intergrative approach, knowing that nothing is "cookie cutter" or"once size fits all". In addition, I work with client to identify the underlying cause of their challenges and formulate with the client a tailored plan that leads to mesurable progress.
I have an affinity for working with young adults and adults who faces challenges and would like to improve maladaptive thoughts and behaviors behavior that leave them feeling overwhelmed and stuck. I provide a holistic, empathetic, nonjudgemental, trauma-informed approached during session. I hope to become a lifelong advocate for mental health and provide client with the tools to empower themselves in a lifelong journey we call life.
