Hi there, I'm Emily. Do you feel overwhelmed with work, personal life, past trauma, and relationships? Are you struggling to keep up with it all? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? By working together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a holistic approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. I recognize how overwhelming seeking therapy can feel, but you are making an important choice for you. During our sessions together I will provide a space for you to heal, while bringing evidence-based techniques to provide growth. I look forward to meeting with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Together, we will identify your challenges and goals - where you want your life to be a month, six months, a year from now. Then, we'll identify options and strategies you can use to get there. You'll leave the session with a better understanding of what you're facing with an "actions I can take right now" approach. There will always be room for suggestions concerning our work together, including keeping each other accountable.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

During my time as a therapist, I have found that my strengths include being client-centered and holistic. I appreciate meeting you wherever you are in your journey to healing.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past three years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

Throughout my time as a therapist I have had the privilege of utilizing tenants of DBT throughout sessions with my client's. I appreciate the use of DBT when working with emotions, trauma, anxiety, and focusing on the hear and now.
