My approach begins with getting to know you and your unique place in the world. I aim to make you feel comfortable and understood as we explore what brings you to therapy. I listen deeply and intuitively, using my knowledge and life experiences to guide you toward relief and healing. My mission is to help you build resilience in this wild and unpredictable world so that together we can contribute to making it a better place. Insurance Information: I accept Kaiser and Optum insurances with Grow in CA. If this isn't reflected on the website, please reach out to me directly—I'm here to help.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After we take care of the necessary details like informed consent, I’m excited to get to know you and hear about your life. I want to understand what’s causing you suffering and how I can help. This is also your chance to ask me any questions you might have. We'll also talk about the benefits of regular sessions. Meeting on the same day and time each week (with some flexibility, of course!) helps us get into a good rhythm and makes the most of our therapy together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I excel at deep and intuitive listening, ensuring you feel heard and understood. I create a comfortable, safe environment where you can share your struggles without fear of judgment. I take the time to understand your unique place in the world, integrating your personal experiences into our sessions. My mission is to guide you toward resilience, committed to your long-term well-being and growth. I use my extensive knowledge and life experiences to offer practical, relatable insights, specializing in supporting young women with ADHD, anxiety, and complex trauma. While I focus on young women, I'm open to helping anyone ready to work on themselves, because I believe in flexibility and inclusivity. My goal is to empower you to feel healthy, confident, and independent.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

With this approach, I strive to create a supportive and empathetic environment where you feel understood and valued. This approach fosters self-discovery and personal growth through deep and intuitive listening. By providing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuine support, I aim to empower you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely, leading to greater self-awareness and personal development.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic Therapy focuses on exploring the unconscious mind, understanding past experiences, and how they influence present behavior. This method helps uncover deep-seated emotions and patterns, leading to meaningful insights and healing. By examining the dynamic interactions among various structures of the personality and bringing unconscious forces to the surface, we create space to reshape these internal drives, reducing the suffering they may cause when left unchecked. Essentially, this approach is about helping you understand yourself better and transform how your mind operates.

Eclectic

While I primarily lean into person-centered and psychodynamic approaches, I also incorporate concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness Self-Compassion, Gestalt Therapy, Art Therapy, and more. This flexibility allows me to tailor our sessions to your specific needs and preferences, using the most effective techniques to support your healing and growth. By combining these methods, I ensure a comprehensive and personalized therapeutic experience that addresses all aspects of your well-being.
