Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counsellor (LMHC) based in Indiana. I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and have been practicing for over 15 years. I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self esteem, women's issues, and career stress and burnout move through these phases of their lives to become the best versions of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with professionals across the adult lifespan for over a decade, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with young professionals who are in the first few years of their careers as well as a more mature population that is looking for a change in their career. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers, relationships, and other major areas of life.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

This is a type of psychotherapy that can help with a range of mental and physical health conditions. It's based on acceptance and mindfulness strategies, along with commitment and behavior-change strategies.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a psycho-social intervention that aims to reduce symptoms of various mental health conditions, primarily depression and anxiety disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most effective means of treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy, also known as grief counseling, is a type of psychotherapy that helps people deal with the emotional, physical, social, cognitive, and spiritual responses to loss. Some techniques used in grief therapy include: Accepting difficult emotions without judgment. Being more aware of and present in daily activities. Establishing a routine to help regulate emotions and soothe the nervous system.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-based therapies (MBTs) use meditation, relaxation, and awareness exercises to help patients focus on the present moment. The goal is to experience day-to-day situations and stressors in a nonjudgmental and non-reactionary way. MBTs can help with: Mood and anxiety disorders, Chronic insomnia, and Rumination and worry.

Adlerian

An Adlerian therapist assists individuals in comprehending the thoughts, drives, and emotions that influence their lifestyles. People in therapy are also encouraged to acquire a more positive and productive way of life by developing new insights, skills, and behaviors.
