I'm a cis South Asian man of color and adult child of immigrant parents. People often describe me as empathetic, thoughtful, grounded, and with a good sense of humor. Over the last 15 years of practice, I’ve had the honor to witness what approaches bring transformative healing and change. I primarily use a somatic (brain/body), mindfulness-based, relational approach toward healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I'll gather information on what's bringing you to therapy in this season of your life. You deserve to have a therapist that helps you feel safe and understood. My mission as a therapist is to help you access the most resonant healing possible. I'm committed to sharing a warm and inviting space that honors your wholeness, authenticity, and expansion.

One of my greatest strengths is taking the time to honor your culture and identity while acknowledging how different systems are impacting you. I also facilitate skill-building in clients, including mindfulness, communication, and emotional regulation skills. My strongest values include connection, curiosity, integrity, dignity, and growth and I bring these values to life in my work with clients. I’m confident in my use of a somatic, mindfulness-based, relational approach toward healing.

My treatment methods

Brainspotting

I'm an advanced Brainspotting practitioner and strongly believe in its healing potential. Brainspotting activates parts of the brain that move toward healing trauma and stress. We'll use focused mindfulness to access deeper healing in the brain and body.

Somatic

Whether it's from oppressive systems or relational challenges, we know that "the body keeps the score" when it comes to trauma and stress. By tending to the body in therapy, we'll be able to gently open up and heal the nervous system.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness simply means awareness of the present moment. When we pay attention to what's happening moment-to-moment in session, we'll be able to create some spaciousness between your thoughts, feelings, and sensations.

Racial trauma treatment

As an adult child of immigrant parents and man of color, I know the impact of racial trauma on the body and mind. You deserve a therapist that helps you feels safe and understood. I strive to provide trauma-informed, culturally-responsive care with an anti-oppressive lens.
