Hi there, I’m Stephanie! Do you feel stuck in your current life or unable to move forward with what’s been weighing on you recently? Is making a chance difficult and challenging? I aim to meet you where you’re at in your life and help you overcome the struggles and hardships of life. I help provide you with the tools to move beyond the anxiety, depression, family issues, academic challenges or substance use issues you might be facing. I have extensive experience empowering people to meet their full potential. I’m not a one size fits all therapist and will pull from a variety of different techniques and modalities to help you become a version of yourself.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Your first session is more of a get to know each other session. As mentioned, I’m not a one size fits all therapist and want to get you know you, the good, the bad and the ugly. After your first couple of sessions, you’ll be able to start implementing new skills and techniques to help start the change process. As we move through the therapeutic process, you’ll feel equipped to take control and confront the issues at hand all while making changes, both big and small.
What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I pull from a number of different therapeutic techniques and methods. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and Client-Centered techniques to name a few. We’ll discuss the change process and work to find what motivates you to follow through on things as well. Most of what we do will be talk therapy-based, but I’ll also use some art therapy techniques along the way.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I’ve worked closely with children, teens and young adults for the past 5 years and feel that this area is my biggest strength. I also specialize in addictions counseling and help those overcome the challenges associated with that.
