HI! I'm Travis a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Florida, and have my Master's in Mental Health Counseling. For the last 12 years, I have helped people struggling with relationship issues. Through our work together my client's have made the changes and developed the skills to build fulfilling and rewarding relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will spend some time getting to know each other. Then we will explore what specifically brought you in for help, and the goals that you have for the counseling process. This will give us a clear sense of what changes need to be made to reach your desired outcome.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

From my experience helping people struggling in their relationships, I have identified the common patterns and dissatisfactions that people run into over time. I also know the concrete, action steps towards building a rewarding and satisfying connection.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Are you tired of never getting what you want from your relationship? It can be so confusing, frustrating, and painful. There may even be times that it feels so hopeless that you want to just give up on love completely. Although relationships can seem a bit more abstract than other areas of life, there are definitely interactions that work and those that don't. I can help you realize what's not working, and how to turn things around to get your relationship back on track.

My treatment methods

Relational

Our personal issues tend to come to the surface in the context of relationship issues. If your relationships are more often a source of problems instead of a source of enjoyment, it is time to re-evaluate some things. I have used a relational-based treatment approach over the past 8 years to help people identify the areas where individual change is the most needed. This personal growth, changes the way we interact with others, making it finally possible to have meaningful and rewarding relationships in our lives.
