Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in the Bay Area in California. I received my Master's Degree from the University of San Francisco and I have been practicing for the last 10+ years. I support children and families in understanding and supporting a child's challenging behaviors and difficulties and support families in recognizing their child's need and discover their hidden potential.
In our first session, we start with introductions and getting to know each other. I hope to begin to continue to build rapport by co-creating a safe space for sharing about the challenges that you are facing.
I have been working in the early childhood mental health field for many years. I have found that focusing on the relationship as the foundation to supporting a child's challenging behaviors provides some of the remarkable transformations for both children and caregivers: children and caregivers developing new capacities and families finding new and different ways to relate to each other.
My experience has been working with children ages 0-5, young children and their families. I
I have been using an attachment based approach to support the relationships between caregivers and children. This approach helps to focus on the strength of the relationship from which interactions occur.
