My name is Sara and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. At this time I center the majority of my work around anxiety and life transitions. I specialize in supporting clients through life transitions, offering a compassionate and individualized approach to therapy. I work to foster a safe, trusting space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported as they work towards healing and growth. My goal is to walk alongside you, empowering you to set the pace and find your path forward.
During our first session you can expect some introductions and getting to know one another. I'll also discuss my clinical styles in relation to your therapeutic journey to ensure we align.
I believe because of my background and more eclectic approach I can be flexible and adaptable during the course of a singular session or our professional relationship.
Throughout my career I've worked with a variety of clients. My aim is to support teens and well into adulthood.
I am a trained in SFBT, typically when practicing from this standpoint our sessions would be 6-8 weeks, occasionally 10-12 weeks for couples.
While Solution Focused approaches work for some folks, it's not for everyone. Besides Solution Focused I've had training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectic Behavior Therapy. I pull from both while practicing with a trauma informed and whole person lens. I believe in a strong balance of organic conversations and structure of psychoeducation and goal setting to identify progress and change.
