As a Therapist with over 20 years' experience, I work with children, adolescents, families, couples and individuals to strengthen relationships and overall functioning. My approach to counseling is that we all have a need to be connected; to our spouse, friend, parents and children. Many things can disrupt our emotional connections and our goal together, is to repair and strengthen that connection to promote healthy relationships. My therapeutic modalities are eclectic given the particular situation. I am trained in Cognitive Behavior and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Therapy with a strength based, client centered approach. The warmth, attunement and understanding I have for my clients, helps me to create a connection of trust and respect within the therapeutic environment.
