My greatest strength as a provider is the ability to use my success story in my career and professional life to impact the lives of others positively.
Cognitive behavioral therapy and suicidal prevention are some of the vital and fundamental approaches I use during therapy. As a mental health practitioner, psychologist, and clinician who understands the human conceptualization of thoughts and actions, they are grounded through cognitive perception, observation, and learning processes. My focus on cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions became phenomenal because of the appropriateness in helping individuals focus on the present in a non-judgmental manner, enhance cognitive perception, and conceptualization of individual ability in a positive self-reflection, re-appraisal, and the self-regulation, using Mindful thought process, mindful meditation, mindful-breathing stress reduction process and physical motivational engagement such as physical exercises. All of these measures, when taught and patients understand the application during counseling and therapy sessions, promote clients' trust and confidence in the use of personal and human agency's decision-making approach in crisis and promote positive mental, psychological development, functionality, behavioral well-being, and prevention of suicide due to behavioral and cognitive perception and conceptualization, exposure, and social interaction actualized through learning during counseling and therapy session.
Willful engagement of mind to be in awareness or focus on what is going on within yourself, around you, within the environment, and engaging in positive activities and behavior that promotes physical and mental health.
Counseling with the couple is a talk therapy that requires a lot of comprehension and conceptualization of the challenges that the couple experiences. It also requires the ability to walk with such a couple through each of the challenges until both understand where the problems are and reach the most suitable compromise and the decision to salvage the best interests of each couple.
I began to support my client’s experiencing depression and suicidal ideation with MBI, for over 2 years and still counting, I have seen my clients witness improvement regarding depression and suicidal thoughts; they expressed positive psychological and physical well-being, improved cognitive thought processes, especially after reevaluation and assessment of care.
The kind of trauma that an individual experiences determines the appropriate intervention, because traumas and traumatic experiences are different from one person to another, most important aspect of this treatment approach is ability to help client navigate through the event and what it means to them, explore the client's perception of the event and assist client get through it and be able to manage self-regulation to be able to stay on tract and back to full self-awareness.
