Life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes the challenges come so fast that it feels like everything might fall apart. In those moments, having someone to talk to, a therapist who truly listens can make all the difference. Therapy is a space just for you. A place to slow down, be supported, feel heard, and be seen. Together, we’ll navigate what’s weighing on you, so you can find your strength, rebuild your resilience, and reconnect with the version of you that feels whole again. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Supervisor (LPCCS) for Ohio and in New Mexico I hold an LPCC. I am an National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my Masters in Counseling from Western New Mexico University and have been practicing for over 30 years.
First sessions can feel a little intimidating. I understand. In our first conversation, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you feel is getting in the way of you being the best version of yourself. This first session is about building a connection, understanding, and creating a space where you feel safe and supported. I'll start by asking you some questions to better understand your story. Together we will map out a direction for your therapy; a kind of flight path that can help guide us toward the life you want to be living.
One of the greatest strengths I bring to my work as a therapist is a genuine love for what I do. I feel deeply honored to walk alongside my clients in their journeys. Because of this, I approach each session with curiosity, care, and respect.
I am a therapist specializing in helping people going through tough times. The people I help are feeling emotionally, mentally, or even physically drained. They are used to managing everything themselves. Many seem “fine” on the outside, but they are silently carrying a lot that they might not even realize they're carrying. You don’t have to go through this alone. I’m here when you’re ready.

While I utilize a wide range of treatment modalities, I have found that initially most people prefer a mindfulness approach at the start of therapy. When appropriate and agreed on between us, we can move into other treatment methods.
