I’m so excited to connect with you! My name is Erica Richley-Duda. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I’ve been a practicing clinician for 20 years. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I have extensive experience working with school issues and parenting issues. I’ve also worked with couples issues. In my free-time, I love spending time outdoors and walking my dog, Noble! I’ve authored two books - “Unmasking ADHD: Navigating the Neurodivergent Mind” and “Unlocking Trauma: Creating Trauma-Informed Environments and Transforming School Discipline.”

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I’m excited to hear your story during our first session! From there, we can identify what you’d like to address during our time together, what you’d like to get out of counseling, and next steps.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Oftentimes in times of struggle, it’s hard to see the light. My strength is my ability to provide encouragement and hope to help clients take steps towards a better tomorrow.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages who are ready to have someone come alongside them to address barriers that are preventing them from being the best version of themselves.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Negative thought patterns are easy to get stuck in. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an approach that examines these patterns. It seeks to teach coping strategies and the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Working with this approach for 20 years, it’s been amazing to see individuals empowered as they gain insight into their thought processes in order to develop healthier ways of thinking!
