I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing for 25 years. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults that suffer from ADHD, Depression and/or Anxiety. I use a variety of therapeutic methods to help my clients be the best version of themselves. I am also a Certified Grief Informed therapist and have helped many adolescents and adults work through their loss.
In our first session I will get to know you, explore the reason that brought you into therapy and start creating goals for treatment.
I have worked with many clients over the years, however the last 10 years I have specialized with working with women with anxiety and depression. I have found a way to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all women to open up and be their true self.
I love working with women at a turning point in their life, whether it be a new relationship, recent breakup/divorce, career change or perimenopause/menopause struggles. I will provide a space for clients to process this change, feel the loss and teach them new coping strategies to get them through this challenging time.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely-used therapeutic approach that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors. It is often used to treat a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. I have worked with many clients, specifically women using CBT and Problem Solving Therapy overcome every day challenges—whether in romantic relationships, friendships, or work environments. I help clients foster healthier, more positive, and respectful relationships.
I use Problem Solving Therapy (PST) to help clients with every day life stressors and challenges. I will work with clients as a coach, mentor and cheerleader to overcome those barriers that are keeping them from being their best version of themselves. I will provide weekly activities for my clients tailored just for them.
