Looking for a down to earth and relaxed therapist? You're in the right place! While all the individuals I serve are unique, my focus is within the LGBTQ+ community where I have lived experience. I address a multitude of concerns including various LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, transgender health, grief/loss, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, boundaries, and coping skills. I write gender affirming care letters. I'm here to provide you with a safe space and affirming care to navigate your concerns and assist you in reaching your goals!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First sessions are about getting to know you! This allows you to begin feeling comfortable with therapy and me. Of course there are some standard questions we have to go through, but I try to keep it brief and as enjoyable as possible. First sessions also let you share what brings you to therapy and some goals you look forward to working on.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a therapist is my ability to listen without judgement. My style of therapy is eclectic and flexible, because everyone is an individual! You will find me empathetic, open-minded, affirming, supportive, and honest. Our sessions will always be a safe and inclusive space.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I love using CBT coupled with other talk therapies and methodologies. It allows us to work through your thoughts and how they impact your emotions and behaviors. I always keep an open mind on how trauma informs my work with clients. This allows us to include psychoeducation, recognition of triggers, coping skills formulation, and goal setting.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I love being able to share mindfulness techniques that help us be in tune with our thoughts and feelings through our body. I find deep breathing and grounding techniques to be greatly beneficial when experiencing anxiety and/or depression.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have extensive experience in SFBT. This lets us formulate a step by step plan on how to best solve a tangible concern you have, in a shortened amount of time.
