As a school social worker in Michigan since 1998, I bring a wealth of experience in understanding and supporting individuals through various challenges. From managing stress and anxiety to addressing relationship issues or exploring identity and self-discovery, I am here to help you navigate life's transitions and find greater clarity, resilience, and well-being. While I have many years in the field of social worker, I am also a mom of 3, wife, ex-wife, daughter, and sister. I have sat in the client chair in therapy and recognize that there must be a positive connection between therapists and clients. I hope to be a good fit for your therapy journey.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Reaching out for therapy is a courageous step towards personal growth and healing. People often reach out for therapy in their darkest moments and it can be frustrating to take several sessions giving the history when sometimes you just need to dive right in. I will listen to your needs and start where you are at.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I tend to be the person at the grocery store that people will open up to. My approach is compassionate, client-centered and tailored to your unique needs. I'm here to help you in a safe, non-judgmental space find healing and growth. Let's step out of the aisle and into my online portal to get to work on creating a happy, healthy YOU!
