Hi! I am a board certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner in Georgia. I have practiced in this capacity for 4 years. I provide psychiatric assessments, diagnose and treat individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, substance use disorders and women's health. I see clients across from ages 8 through 99. Providing medication management and individual psychotherapy. At this time I only manage ADHD using approved non stimulants.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know each other. We will share important information about your struggles. I will complete a diagnostic assessment by taking your history of what happened in the past, what is happening now, any family history, medications you have taken, what you are allergic to. If we have enough information, We will formulate a diagnosis, develop a treatment plan and prescribe medications. I will educate and refer individuals if their needs are beyond what I can manage.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in a healthcare setting for about 29 years, I treat everyone with respect. I am very compassionate and I listen. I utilize my educational, clinical and personal life experiences to take care for my clients. I make individuals feel comfortable to share their life experiences. A problem shared, is a problem half solved. To obtain the maximum benefit, one has to be open and honest. I am here to provide the support you needed.
