Hi!! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with specialized training in EMDR, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and life transitions. As an Asian immigrant, I bring a unique understanding of how cultural identity, societal expectations, and intergenerational experiences shape mental health. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed and culturally responsive, and I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. In our work together, I integrate EMDR to process past trauma and use expressive arts as a powerful tool for healing and self-expression. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your inner world, heal from the past, and develop a deeper connection to yourself.
In the initial session, I conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand your presenting concerns, personal and cultural background, and therapeutic goals. I provide an overview of my clinical approach and collaboratively determine a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This session also serves to establish rapport and create a foundation for a safe, effective therapeutic relationship.
My strengths as a provider include offering a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach. I bring empathy, cultural insight, and a grounded presence that helps clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing process.
I specialize in supporting BIPOC and immigrant clients navigating cultural identity, trauma, and life transitions. Using EMDR and expressive arts, I offer a culturally responsive space for healing and self-discovery.
