Hi there, I'm Asha. Do you feel overwhelmed with your life? Do you find yourself finding difficulty balancing your responsibilities? Are you experiencing scattered brain syndrome where you find yourself going in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your family, friendships, work and health? Is it hard to be compassionate to yourself? My role as your therapist to be there for you serving you to perform at your optimal level. I help high performers and professionals manage anxiety, depression, avoid compassion fatigue and burnout. We are a team; we work together to identify what's preventing you from finding balance in your life. Then, we'll use a holistic approach to address your needs. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use solution focused approach, ACT, and DBT approach addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate person-centered, and motivational interviewing to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself and provide you with the tools to move forward with your life. Whether you're dealing with feelings of overwhelmingness, depression, anxiety, relationship issues or cycles of trauma, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can be intimidating, but I am honored to help ease you in the process. You are making the right choice by seeking help. With me, you will have the safe-space to be your vulnerable self to heal and grow. I will also be using SMART goals to help you achieve your goals in a compassionate manner. In our sessions we'll be utilizing evidence-based techniques and empathy to help you overcome your daily obstacles. I am looking forward to helping you on your journey to peace. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we discuss three target behaviors you would like to engage in less to improve the quality of your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work best with the youth from ages 18-40 y/o. It's tough navigating current issues facing our youth. I empathize with you. I also work well with individuals in professional positions since I specialize working with professionals who experience compassion fatigue and burn-out.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I’ve applied DBT approach with a large percentage of my clients and have shown significant progress as they practiced their coping skills.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I am a certified ACT therapist. ACT teaches values based action. For example, I value discipline. My actions are aligned with my value of discipline.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I have worked with BIPOC communities since college. I am a BIPOC therapist myself and competent and certified in multicultural specialty.
