What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
We will complete an assessment together to get a better clinical picture of your needs and strengths.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I have completed extensive trainings in CBT or cognitive behavioral therapy to treat a variety of conditions. CBT is an evidence based treatment practice I feel very comfortable using to treat anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, and pain management. CBT will help you better understand how your thoughts impact your feelings/emotions and behaviors. You will learn specific strategies to reframe and refocus your negative thoughts to more positive ones. I have also been trained in EMDR or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy for trauma.
