I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential in living their best lives. I have extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients, including those with chronic mental health conditions. My philosophy is to enter into a therapeutic, authentic environment with each client for the purpose of helping them work through the challenges and to respond in a way that will promote restoration and encourage healing. I believe in creating a trusting and transparent atmosphere, where each individual feel like they are my only client. I address issues honestly and open, while being respectful, kind, and empathetic.
I specialize in working with adults struggling with a variety of concerns and mental challenges. However, working with couples and individuals in challenging relationships have been my greatest reward. I enjoy seeing couples work together through the challenges in hopes of keeping love and their relationship alive. Some couples also come to therapy at the cross-roads of the relationship and may realize through processing, transparency, and rediscovery, that the relationship has reached its end for mutual separation. It is imperative that each spouse/partner engage in the process of working through the issues/challenges in order to see an outcome that is satisfactory to both. I also find it rewarding working with Women of Color who struggle with low self esteem and self confidence. I believe I am here to partner with that women on a path to help find the light within her. The stressors and triggers for WOC may be rather foreign to other populations, as they tend to encounter uniques obstacles that negatively impact their overall well being. I laugh, cry, guide, and share in the victories that happen while in therapy and outside of therapy. We are one yet individual and we do it together.
