Hello I am Amanda! When I think of myself as a social worker, I always wanted to Empower, Educate & Enlighten people and my community. I believe that each individual creates a goal, and as therapists, we are here to apply the tools to accomplish the goals. I practice goal-oriented, strengths-based, and motivational interviewing, focusing on learning and implementing healthy coping skills and problem-solving. I utilize the 3 (Empower, Educate & Enlighten) to help one achieve those goals and create an individualized treatment plan. I have a non-judgmental, caring, and compassionate style to support individuals dealing with life experiences. I strive to Empower individuals to rediscover and recreate themselves. I strive to Educate about various mental health needs. I strive to Enlighten one with resources to help achieve those goals.
Clients can expect to build rapport with me. They can expect to feel that this is a safe space for them. I like for clients to know that this is their session, and each individual is in control of how therapy can work for them.

One of my biggest strengths would be person centered therapy and creating individualized treatment plans. I like for clients to feel empowered to change their lives. Utilizing the 3 elements help my clients is my strengths. Empower individuals to rediscover and recreate themselves. How you start therapy is not how you will end therapy. I consider therapy to be a journey that we will go through together. Creating a space where you can learn more about yourself in different aspects. I strive to Educate about various mental health needs. Providing research and resource to help clients understand mental health. What it looks like for them, and thing needed to cope with some of the mental health challenges. I strive to Enlighten one with community resources to help achieve those goals.
