Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minneota, and have been practicing for 5 years. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I work with many people hoping to gain understanding of their experienced trauma and lessen the impact it has on their ability to engage in daily life. In my non-EMDR practice, I enjoy working with young adults transitioning into college and careers, people struggling with relationships, and people wanting to gain a deeper understanding of their place in the world.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we'll start with introductions and I'll make sure any questions you have are answered. I'll have some questions about you and what you want me to know about you, and we'll dive into what your challenges and goals are.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take a very person-centered approach and always keep you and your goals at the center of what we're doing. I know therapy can feel weird and scary and awkward; I don't think it has to be. I've developed a skillset and passion for diving in and examining your life together with you, which leads to a better understanding of self and the ability to develop a self-image and coping skills that really work for you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with young people who are hoping to have a safe place to self-examine and work through some of their harder feelings, gain skills to reach their goals, and feel content and fulfilled with where they're at in life.
