Dr. Ghiloni is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who offers a full menu of psychiatric services including psychotherapy, medication management, cognitive testing, and DNA genetic testing for psychiatric and depression medication. Psychiatric services are provided to patients 12 years and up. Dr. Ghiloni takes great pride in her psychiatric practice. She holds a doctorate in education, master’s in nursing, and is board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has 27 years of mental health experience of all ages.
Dr. Ghiloni will do a lot of listening at the first encounter. The goal is to build a rapport and meet the client where they are at.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
1. Purports that external events do not cause anxiety or maladaptive responses 2. States that a person’s expectations, perceptions, and interpretations of events cause anxiety 3. Allows clients to view reality more clearly through and examination of their central distorted cognitions 4. Goal is to change clients’ irrational beliefs, faulty conceptions, and negative cognitive distortions.

Lisa made me feel like I had known her for a longvtiney. She was so caring and attentive and I really felt heard like she didn’t try to fix or judge me. She is open to what I wanted to do also some mental health professionals gave you their input and never ask how you feel about it.
