Are you feeling overwhelmed due to challenges with navigating stressors in life? Are traumatic experiences preventing you from moving forward in life? Are you feeling misunderstood and feel that your voice isn’t being heard? Therapy is about being in a safe and non-judgmental space that will consist of addressing these concerns. My non-judgemental approach ensures that you are validated, understood, and affirmed. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey. I have years experience of providing therapy services in varied mental health settings such as schools, in-home therapy settings, and community-based agencies. I worked with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and also clients of different ages.
Before our first session, I typically offer a 15 min consultation to discuss what you are looking for in a therapist, what your needs are, and confirm that we both feel comfortable to move forward with an intake session. In our first session, we discuss current challenges and presenting issues that you are experiencing.
I focus on areas such as self-esteem, anxiety, trauma recovery, life adjustments, and stress management. I provide approaches that are designed to address the needs of a person such as Brainspotting, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Trauma informed-care, Solution-focused therapy, Mindfulness, and Narrative therapy.
