Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Colorado Christian University and have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years. I have training and experience with family issues, children/adolescents, parenting, men's issues, and faith-based counseling. I am committed to helping those I work with find practical solutions and take active steps towards resolving problems, improving relationships, and leading a healthier life.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, answer any questions you may have, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I approach the challenges my clients face with calmness, kindness, and compassion. As we work together, I draw on my years of professional experience, as well as my life experiences as a husband and father, to set realistic goals and find practical ways to make measurable progress.
I enjoy working with individuals to address family and parenting issues. Relationship challenges can cause significant distress, concern, and frustration. However, these same challenges can be improved through building skills and learning new tools. My clients are motivated to learn to identify problem behaviors, how they can change their behaviors, and practice new skills within their relationships.
