My name is Stephanie Sattar. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and then went on to earn my License for Clinical Social Work. I specialize in working with individuals and caregivers. My focus is on difficult transitions, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, and self-care. My treatment approach is client and solution-focused. We work together to find solutions. As humans, we all go through difficult times in our lives. It can be hard to seek help, but it is a brave and powerful step to take. Working towards healing and personal growth require a trusting relationship. This work is what leads to change and possibilities.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have experience working with adults who are experiencing anxiety and depression. I also have worked with adults who are working on self-love and self-esteem. I have dedicated a large portion of my career to working with people experiencing memory disorders and their caregivers.
I use a combination of treatment methods including strength- based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We focus on your strengths as a person to work towards behavior change to provide you with individual and person-centered solutions that work for you.
