Hey there, I'm thrilled to connect with you! I'm an LPC based in Texas, and I've been on a mission to support clients in their mental health journey since 2020. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I'm all about helping people navigate those tough patches in life. I specialize in working with people who experienced trauma as a child; people whose anxiety prevents them from experiencing the world & making friends; people who have lost loved ones or are grieving a loss of another kind; people who doubt their own accomplishments and sometimes feel like a fraud; and people who sometimes struggle to get out of bed because they feel overwhelmed or sad.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Our first session is all about establishing a connection, getting to know each other, and understanding the challenges you're facing. I want you to feel comfortable and supported every step of the way. Understanding your unique experiences helps me tailor a treatment plan to best meet your needs. We can explore different options and techniques to address your needs. From cognitive-behavioral strategies to mindfulness exercises, there's a range of tools we can pull from. Together, we'll find what works for you and fits seamlessly into your daily life. By the end of our session, I try to leave you with one or two coping techniques that you can start implementing right away.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
Having worked with a diverse population of clients over the years, I have come to understand that every one is unique and has their own experiences they bring to session. One of the cornerstones of my practice is rooted in the belief that you, as the client, are the ultimate authority on yourself. Who else knows the ins and outs of your experiences, thoughts, and emotions better than you? That's why I make it a point to listen intently, with both ears and heart wide open, as you share your story. This helps us to identify the root cause of your challenges, and aids me in crafting a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs.
