What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

As we begin our therapeutic journey together, I want to ensure you feel comfortable and informed about what to expect from our first session. Initially, we'll take some time to get to know each other and establish a foundation of trust and confidentiality. I'll provide an overview of the therapeutic process, including discussing our goals for therapy and how we'll work together to achieve them. We'll also go over important boundaries and disclosures, such as confidentiality and its limitations, as well as any legal or ethical obligations. It's essential for you to feel confident in our ability to maintain a safe and confidential space for our discussions. Additionally, we'll address any safety concerns you may have and develop an emergency plan in case of crisis situations. Your well-being and safety are paramount, and I'm here to support you through any challenges that may arise. Overall, our first session is an opportunity for us to establish a strong therapeutic alliance and begin laying the groundwork for your healing journey. I'm here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify negative thought patterns contributing to anxiety and depression. Through practical techniques, we challenge and reframe these thoughts, develop coping strategies, and gradually expose clients to feared situations, fostering healthier behaviors and improved emotional well-being.

Gestalt

In Gestalt therapy, we focus on present moment experiences and the client's awareness of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through dialogue, creative experimentation, and exploring unresolved emotions, we work towards integrating fragmented aspects of self, fostering healing and personal growth amidst anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma.

Grief Therapy

In grief therapy, we will create a safe space to explore and express emotions related to loss. Through validation, support, and coping strategies, we navigate the grieving process together. By honoring the unique journey of grief, we work towards acceptance, healing, and finding meaning in the loss.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use, Mindfulness-based therapy to help clients cultivate present moment awareness and acceptance. In addressing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and grief, I integrate mindfulness practices to help clients observe their thoughts and emotions without judgment, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. By fostering a non-reactive stance, clients can navigate these challenges with greater clarity and compassion towards themselves.

Strength-Based

I utilize strength-based therapy to help my clients dentifying and harness their existing strengths, skills, and resources to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. By emphasizing their abilities and positive attributes, we work together to enhance resilience, increase protective factors, and ultimately improve their quality of life. This approach empowers clients to build on their strengths and capabilities, leading to greater confidence and success in navigating life's ups and downs.
