I help people through their life transitions, process their grief and work with their anxiety and more. My ideal client is anyone who is looking to better themselves and their mental health and put in the time that they deserve. I believe that everyone knows themselves best. When it comes to therapy, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. I will work with patients to achieve their goals. Their therapeutic exercises will be tailored to fit their specific needs. I want my patients to understand that I serve as a support while they lead the therapeutic process. I also want my patients to develop coping skills that will work best for them and their lifestyles.
Therapy is a collaborative process. The way I like to explain it is, "you are the driver in the car and I am your compass." My expectations is that you would come into therapy engaged and we would work together to address your issues. If you come upon any barriers, we would explore them together and figure out how to overcome them.
I do a mixtures of different therapies depending on the client but do predominately cognitive behavioral therapy. I am training in interpersonal therapy, cognitive processing therapy, exposure and response prevention therapy, strengths based therapy and solution focused therapy.
