Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Arizona. I received my Masters from the University of Phoenix and have been practicing for 5 years. I have a passion for working with adolescents, teenagers, and their families. I also enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, career stress, and burnout in realizing their full potential. Additionally, I support individuals in finding clarity and hope when they are experiencing confusion, stagnation, or a sense of being lost.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll begin with a brief introductions and then explore the current challenges you're facing. This approach will help me understand your unique needs and create a tailored plan for us to work on together in our future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have developed a strong ability to stay present and grounded during sessions, ensuring that my clients feel seen, heard, and validated. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship characterized by openness and curiosity, free from judgment. My goal is to help each client approach their experiences with curiosity and embrace the healing journey with openness to what unfolds.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I love to use a mindfulness based approach to target symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression. Mindfulness has helped clients with their emotional regulation, attention and concentration, pain management, addictions, sleep issues, etc. Together we can use and explore various techniques of breathing, body scans, meditation, and other everyday tools to target the symptoms you are experiencing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage mental health symptoms by focusing on the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through CBT, I work with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier ways of thinking, and adopt practical strategies for coping with emotional distress. By setting goals and practicing new behaviors, I help my clients to improve their mood, manage anxiety, reduce stress, and enhance overall mental well-being.

Polyvagal Therapy

I use Polyvagal Therapy to help clients with mental health symptoms by focusing on the regulation of the autonomic nervous system. By understanding how the vagus nerve affects emotional and physiological states, I assist clients in shifting from states of hyperarousal or dissociation to a more balanced and grounded state. This approach helps them manage symptoms of anxiety, trauma, and stress. Additionally, I am trained in Post-Induction Therapy, which addresses trauma and addictions, I integrate this expertise to support clients in processing and healing from past experiences. This combined approach helps clients achieve greater emotional stability and resilience.
