Hello! My name is Jess. Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with life's challenges? As a licensed counselor, I offer a safe and supportive space where you can openly express your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Together, we'll explore the root causes of your concerns, develop coping strategies, and work towards achieving your personal goals. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship issues, or seeking self-growth, I provide evidence-based interventions tailored to your unique needs. I am committed to helping you navigate through difficult times, enhance your well-being, and discover your inner strengths. Let's embark on a transformative journey to empower you and create positive changes in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to gain a variety of benefits and takeaways from therapy sessions. While each person's experience is unique, here are some common outcomes clients often report: Increased self-awareness Improved coping skills Enhanced problem-solving abilities Emotional regulation Improved relationships Increased self-esteem and self-acceptance It's important to note that therapy outcomes can vary depending on individual circumstances and goals. The therapeutic journey is unique to each client, and the benefits they derive from therapy are highly individualized.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) focuses on identifying and modifying negative thought patterns and behaviors. It helps individuals develop more adaptive thoughts and behaviors through techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral experiments, and skill-building exercises. Mindfulness-Based Therapies help individuals develop present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance of their experiences. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy focuses on identifying and building solutions rather than solely exploring problems. It emphasizes setting clear goals, highlighting strengths, and generating practical strategies to create change. Motivational Interviewing (MI) focuses on enhancing motivation and commitment to change by exploring and resolving ambivalence.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

While I enjoy working with a variety of client populations, I feel especially drawn to those experiencing significant life transitions (career change/burnout, new relationships/breakups, pregnancy/parenthood, navigating into adulthood, legal involvement, relocating, etc.) where the individual may be struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, and/or overwhelming stress.
