Having been a licensed therapist for over 12 years, I have helped many different types of clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, adjusting to a new career or family dynamic, trauma, grief and loss, and issues with their family. I applaud you for seeking guidance and I look forward to helping you. I am several different ethnicities and have worked with many different populations including couples; families; teenagers (sometimes in conjunction with schools to help students change their dynamics at school and garner the help of administrators and teachers, as I am a former teacher); children, elderly clients; clients who have been discriminated against; clients who have been bullied, and clients who are navigating career changes as well as medical issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I will also ask questions about your goals, history, and family dynamics and go over over information during the first session and go-over coping skills that will help you navigate the difficulties you face.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I typically use CBT, Solution focused approaches for individuals and systems theories for couples and families.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Treating clients with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, who are in crisis; clients who are having difficulties in their relationships at work, school, and at home; clients who have experienced discrimination. Collaborate with clients who feel overwhelmed to navigate ways to solve their issues and work on getting better outside of session.
