Great to meet you! I am a LPC & LMSW with over 20 years in the mental health field. I have two masters’ degrees and a doctorate degree. My strengths are working with people with the greatest need who may not have any hope, support or desire initially to help themselves. I work with children, adolescents, individuals, families/couples. I work with diverse groups of people. I love my job. I feel that it is important and that only certain people can do it well. Please reach out to me. We will work together as a team. As your therapist I will be with you as you go through your healing process. I will learn about the life that you have and together we will develop goals that are tailored to you and focused on your success during this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first meeting, we'll begin with brief introductions before diving into the specific challenges you're facing. This will aid in the development of a tailored plan for us to work through in next sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What you can expect from our first session Clients can expects to take away a different view of what therapy sessions are after having a session with me. Sessions follow a team work model They are interactive and allow the clients to participate and reflect on many past events not just recent. Therapy sessions are very empowering. My therapy style is warm and solution- focused. I enjoy working with couples.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling consist of focusing on improving relationship satisfaction and conflict resolution between couples. The ultimate goal is to build a healthy relationship and solve any possible issues.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I have several years working with clients dealing with trauma. This treatment method helps to process trumatic experiences. There are several ways that the experiences can be processed during the sessions, including visualization, talking or thinking about the truamatic memory. Also the focus can be on changing the unhelpful belief about the trauma that occurred.
