Hi! I'm Greg. I enjoy supporting people in discovering a new way to live that reduces stress and is meaningful and lasting. I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals who are cancer survivors, navigating life transitions, experiencing grief and loss, and other issues such as anxiety, depression, chronic pain, trauma, and family caregiving-related concerns. I am passionate about being a support and guide for people facing turbulent times and uncertainty. One of my goals is recognizing and calling forward an innate resilience that supports navigating distressing times. I bring a calm and warm presence to therapy sessions that facilitate my work in supporting your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. In our time together, I will serve as a guide and witness to you as you find a way through that connects with your deepest values.
In our first session, we'll focus on what brings you to therapy right now and any relevant history that will inform our work together. The first session will help set the foundation for your journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth through therapy.
My primary strength is to connect with you in a way that allows for a space to open up in therapy where you can fully express yourself and find healing through this self-exploration. I see good therapy as a combination of art and science, adapting to the current circumstances of your life while offering skills grounded in my experience and current research. I have a calm demeanor and experience leading guided meditation classes and workshops. I bring a peaceful presence to therapy sessions, which can be especially helpful during distressing times. Clients have also shared with me that they appreciate that I am an active and engaged participant in sessions, where I balance heart-centered listening with deliberate guidance. I look forward to being of support to you!
I often work with individuals facing significant life challenges and times of change. I frequently work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, history of trauma, relationship issues, and ADHD. I also specialize in working with individuals experiencing grief, chronic illness, cancer, and healthcare professionals. I use a mind-body psychotherapeutic technique called Brainspotting which is an effective source of healing at the root of emotional distress. I am also available to support clients interested in their spirituality.
Humanistic Therapy is a warm, person-centered approach that emphasizes your capacity for growth, self-awareness, and meaningful change. At its core, it’s about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions openly. I’ll work with you as an equal—listening with empathy, reflecting your experiences, and helping you connect more deeply with your authentic self. Rather than focusing on “fixing” you, this therapy trusts in your wisdom and your ability to make choices aligned with your values. It’s especially helpful if you’re seeking greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, or a more grounded sense of purpose.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a compassionate and empowering approach that helps you navigate life's challenges and create a more fulfilling life. In ACT, we work together to accept your thoughts and feelings without judgment, learning to view them as passing experiences rather than defining truths. Through mindfulness techniques, you'll gain the tools to stay present and aware, allowing you to respond to situations with clarity. We'll identify your core values, what truly matters to you, and use them as a guide to set meaningful goals. ACT teaches practical skills to take committed action towards these goals, even in the face of discomfort or fear. By embracing acceptance and committing to actions aligned with your values, you can build resilience, reduce emotional struggles, and live a life that reflects your deepest desires and aspirations.
Brainspotting is a cutting-edge therapy that taps into your brain’s innate capacity for healing and growth. In Brainspotting, therapists help clients locate and process “brainspots,” which are eye positions linked to emotional and somatic experiences. These spots are associated with unprocessed trauma, distressing memories, or emotional blockages. By focusing on specific eye positions, therapists and clients can access deep emotions, memories, and sensations held within the nervous system. The goal is to release stored emotional pain, allowing the mind and body to heal.
