Hello and welcome. If you are new to mental health treatment and feeling unsure about the process please understand therapy comes with misconceptions and stigmas at times. The option of telehealth allows much flexibility in our meeting location which often is more comfortable than attending an office in-person. All sessions are private and confidential with few limitations to confidentiality which we will discuss in detail. My therapy sessions are safe spaces where you can be honest and feel free of judgment or criticism. We all need extra support from time to time. My hope is to help you begin finding clarity, stability, and a better mental space altogether.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our sessions will provide a reliable sounding board for you to find clarity and peace in your decisions. While moving toward your goals, I'll help you process and overcome barriers that prevent your success. This may include journaling or therapeutic homework from time to time. Remember our sessions are for you and your benefit.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My approach to therapy is a combination of several modalities depending on the need. Cognitive behavioral therapy is often utilized alongside other modalities such as solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness training. Sessions can include screening tools when needed to track and assess levels of symptoms that interfere with your daily functioning.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a particular interest in young adult phase of life problems related to growing family and changing family dynamics, but I truly enjoy the therapeutic relationship and seeing the strength clients are able to achieve with therapeutic support.
