Hi! I'm a Licensed marriage and Family Therapist (MFT)based in California. Because my previous work has been so diverse these past several years, I treat every single client as the expert in their own lives. In each interaction, I tailored my interventions to their specific situation and symptoms. Whether the topics centered around anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I ensured the tools we developed were done collaboratively and in a safe space. I provide respectful and compassionate services to help you identify your goals, and support you in coping with challenges along the way to achieving them.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our intake, I will ask several questions about you and your history. This will help me better understand where you’re coming from and where we can go for your treatment. I like to begin our intakes with short introductions, a review of the Limits to Confidentiality, and then dive into the topics that are most important to you. We will also cover your overall treatment plan during therapy. After the intake, our sessions will focus on taking steps towards your therapy goals, while learning effective tools to help decrease some symptoms. If we are a mutually good fit, you will walk away from sessions with increased clarity, and a sense of agency around the growth you seek. If you are interested in working with me, please contact me to schedule a free consultation. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my biggest strengths as a therapist is creating a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients. I value building trust with each client, and am curious about their unique perspectives, life experiences, and goals. I use a warm, empathic, and respectful approach that honors the client’s autonomy and agency. Another strength of mine is my integration of various therapeutic modalities that suit the client’s needs and preferences. I have training and experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care. I also incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion, spiritual growth/reflection and cultural humility into my practice. I believe each client is the expert in their life, and I aim to help them discover and utilize their inner resources and strengths.
