My treatment methods

Existential

I use this approach because it focuses on exploring the fundamental questions of existence, like helping clients understand the meaning of life, choices, freedom and responsibility. I encourage self reflection, understanding mortality and working with grief , as well as understanding death and fostering a deper connection with others.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I work with clients using CBT to help change negative thought patters and behaviors to more positive ones, especially if the client desires to talk negative about themselves and their situation. I also use this modality to help determine and clarify their goals so that they can have purpose and flow as well as meaning in their lives. I also use it to teach practical skills to clients like, proper problem solving, stress management and relaxation techniques which include grounding and mindfulness.
