Over the years, as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, I have assisted many individuals, couples, and families, regardless of their age, sexual orientation or gender identity, who are dealing with anger issues, chronic stress/burnout, social anxiety, marital infidelity and sex addiction, as they work towards reclaiming their inner strength, building resiliency and nurturing healthier relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I understand the importance of honoring the uniqueness of each person’s path, so I endeavor to foster open conversations in a welcoming environment that embrace common values with patience and understanding, without judgement. As a result, clients can expect a straight-forward, personalized plan for learning how to manage difficult emotions, change negative thoughts, and learn to deal with life's challenges in a way that leads to an overall improvement to their social, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I use a holistic approach to treatment which integrates evidenced-based, trauma-informed and spiritually-focused techniques that are both accessible and effective to guide clients as they work through difficult life situations. I have helped many individuals to increase their self-esteem, decrease conflicts in personal relationships, and maintain their focus on achieving their life goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice as an experienced clinical therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage anger and improve relationships. I've seen significant positive outcomes with clients, as they gain understanding of the link between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By identifying barriers to good communication, increasing empathy, and decreasing conflict, my clients feel more confident and successful both at work and at home.

Trauma Informed Care

The use of trauma informed care has been very effective in helping clients manage anxious thoughts and improve their relationships. As we explore their adverse life events, my clients discover the source of their deeply rooted, maladaptive patterns. The feeling of relief that clients experience as they learn healthier coping mechanisms and let go of negative interaction patterns leads to an overall improvement to their quality of life.
