Hello! I am Jessica and I am a licensed professional counselor specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, co-occurring treatment, and trauma. I work with adolescents and adults to achieve their goals in a client-centered environment. I assist clients in identifying areas they have struggled, including engaging in maladaptive behaviors, and address these struggles by increasing client skills in areas related to emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and mindfulness. When clients are able to utilize skills effectively, we can address the underlying trauma in a therapeutic and supportive way. I have worked in private practice, community mental health treatment, outpatient settings, and as a crisis clinician. I am currently the Director of Clinical Services for a community mental health agency.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will start with a brief introduction and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will allow me to create a specific treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My strengths include the ability to meet clients where they are, without judgement, and provide a safe space. I am honest and direct, while also providing a nurturing and validating environment.
