3 years of experience

Hello there! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I received my masters from Cambridge College. I have been working in the field of mental health for the last 3 years. My clinical focus is on supporting kids, adolescents and young adults in navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and life changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll start with introductions and getting to know each other. I’d love to know about what brought you to therapy and what you are looking to get out of working together. If it is a good fit, we will work together to create a plan to help you achieve your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

There are no power struggles in therapy. I will walk along side you in your journey of healing and change. I strive to create a safe and warm environment where you can be honest and your true self. I am here to listen to you, support you and guide you if needed.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) in my practice for the past 3 years. CBT is a goal-oriented type of talk therapy that helps manage mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. We’ll use CBT to become more aware of your emotions, thoughts and behaviors. This will help you adopt healthier habits.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I’ve been using client-centered therapy in my practice for the past 3 years. Client-centered therapy (also known as person-centered or Rogerian therapy) is a non-directive form of talk therapy where therapist and client are both equal partners in the therapy process. We’ll use client-centered therapy to build self-concept (the beliefs and ideas about yourself). This in turn improves how you see yourself, how you view the world and how you act with those around you.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I’ve been using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in my practice for the past 3 years. SFBT is a short-term goal-focused therapeutic approach that helps clients make change by constructing solutions instead of focusing on problems. We’ll use SFBT to focus on current circumstances and future hopes, drawing on your expertise in yourself and your strengths to reach your goals. This will help you shift focus to what your strengths are and build on what is already going well in your life.
