I am a licensed therapist and I believe my purpose is to guide, motivate, and empower clients to become a better version of themselves. I use CBT in my work to facilitate positive changes and illicit inner personal growth for those I help. As a clinician, I assist clients in being more self-aware, managing emotions, and learning how to cope with life issues.
I enjoy therapy because I wholeheartedly believe that we all have the capacity to self heal and to reach the best and most authentic version of ourselves. I believe that working on yourself is the truest way to live more happily and more peacefully. I seek to help clients find who they are or get to who they feel they are looking to become. I like to infuse therapy with humor as much as possible, because I believe that therapy and learning about yourself can be fun. I consider myself an honest person and also try to challenge my clients to see truths that they may not have uncovered before.
I enjoy being humorous, non judgmental, and compassionate. I also pride myself in being an honest person who thrives in challenging people to become the most authentic they can be, by uncovering more of who they are by working with me.
CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a type of psychotherapy that helps individuals understand the thoughts and feelings that influence their behaviors. I believe that targeting our thought patterns and challenging thoughts to align with desired outcomes and goals is a game changer.
