I believe that every person has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life challenges. For clients who desire it, I offer Christian counseling, thoughtfully integrated biblical principles, prayer, and faith into the counseling process. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop practical skills that lead to healthier emotions and behaviors. I also incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which helps clients develop psychological flexibility, accept difficult emotions without being controlled by them, and move toward a life that aligns with their deepest values. I work collaboratively with clients to build resilience, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and develop effective coping strategies. I work with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, ADHD and low self esteem.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We'll begin by talking about what brought you to counseling and what you are hoping to accomplish. There is no pressure to share everything during the first session. I'll ask questions about different areas of your life to better understand your experiences, including: current concerns and symptoms, relationships and family history, medical and mental health history, work and daily life, coping strategies you have tried, strengths, interests and support systems, spiritual beliefs, if they are important to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you as we work together toward your goals. Some of the strengths I bring including: a compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, evidence-based care, focus on lasting change, respect for your values, strengths based perspective, practical tools to use outside of session, a commitment to growth and learning. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, encouraged, and equipped with practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and hope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with those who struggle with self image and self judgement, situations/events they cannot control, trauma, struggles in relationships, and those who struggle with emotional regulation. I also love to work with faith based clients to give biblical principles to apply to life.

I've only had my first session with her but she is amazing! She's very understanding and kind. My session with her went very well and I'm glad to have her as my therapist. She gives off a safe, warm vibe and she's funny as well.
