I am Kristen Williams! I feel called to promote emotional and psychological healing in those I serve, guiding them on their journeys toward self-discovery and growth. As a wife and mother, I understand the complexities of balancing personal and family life, and I bring that empathy into my practice. My mission is to create a supportive environment where individuals can explore their challenges and celebrate their progress, ultimately fostering resilience and well-being.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my unwavering support, empathy, and ability to navigate others through their most challenging moments with compassion and understanding

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a powerful, evidence-based treatment method that helps clients identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. I have used CBT in both group and individual therapy settings. It’s all about empowering them to take control of their thoughts and actions.

Faith based therapy

Faith based therapy is designed for individuals who find comfort and strength in their faith and want to incorporate it into their therapeutic process. This might involve prayer, scripture reading, or discussions about how one's faith can help them cope with life's challenges. I often share the client's faith, creating a supportive environment where spiritual and emotional healing can occur together.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This methos is all about finding practical solutions to current problems rather than delving into the past or exploring deep-rooted issues. It's a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that emphasizes the client's strengths and resources. I would help clients envision their desired future and then works with them to identify the steps needed to achieve those goals. The focus is on what's working well and how to build on those successes. It's about empowering clients to find their own solutions and make positive changes in their lives.
