What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and learn what brings you to therapy and determine your goals. Follow up sessions are for you to tell me how you have managed to use what you took away from our sessions and where you will receive support to talk about your primary concerns and issues and make progress on the goals that you set.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a solution focused approach to find practical solutions by talking with you and putting an emphasis on strengths and improving self confidence. I also utilize Cognitive therapy to help you identify and change negative thoughts and behaviors. I help you understand how thoughts, feelings and behavior are all connected.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to sense what others are thinking and feeling, show acceptance and be able to understand and identify with other's experiences. I enjoy working with adults with anxiety and depression and mood disorders.
