I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Qualified Supervisor in North Carolina. I received my Masters from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and have been practicing for 10 years. Before that I worked in psychological research looking at cognitive processing and women's mental health. I help women identify what isn't working for them and create realistic goals to improve their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I get a brief history and we set up what we want to work on. From there, we will have realistic goals and a clear roadmap on how to get there. You can expect an authentic session where progress is made.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is I understand psychology and I understand mental health. They are two separate entities but mistakenly get clumped together or one is ignored. You can't treat the brain without knowing how it works and that's how I work. I'm honest while being empathetic and don't bs my clients. If you do not see anything available in my calendar, feel free to reach out to me and we will try to connect.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I am an Integrative Therapist. I use many different theories, but I use them together. CBT with ACT, along with Adlerian, DBT, and Reality Therapy. And those are just a few. Most theories are great but sometimes you have to cherry pick from them depending on who the client is.
